The Story


During a bridge match, a completely innocent comment regarding the recent activities of Lord Chagsworth led to our heroine Lady Clankington being challenged to dual by the gentleman's wife. Upon hearing the terms of the duel (to be held in the bed chambers with the doors bared and only the seconds as witnesses) Lady Clankington nearly laughed, thinking she was far to experienced to possibly fail. Later that night, Lord Chagsworth leaned over and whispered into her ear that Lady Chagsworth was rather “quick on the draw” with her weapon of choice, which she kept next to the bed at all times. At this, Lord Chagsworth and Lady Clankington finished their game of hide the penny and immediately rushed out to visit Dr. Visbaun’s laboratory.

That next morning they met in the center of the room with weapons in hand, turned and walked five paces to matching lounge chairs, the handkerchief fell…

Yes, Lady Chagsworth was quick on the draw but armed with her brand new “Little Death Ray”, Lady Clankington definitely got off the first shot.
