SAN JOSE, Calif. – MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) was on scene for today's "Strikeforce Challengers VI: Kaufman vs. Hashi" official fighter weigh-ins in San Jose, Calif.

Today's weigh-in ceremonies took place at the Hilton San Jose (in the Almaden Ballroom). Friday night's Showtime-broadcast fight card takes place at the San Jose Civic Auditorium.

All 24 fighters successfully made weight for the show, though as is typical in California, it took some early contract planning.

The California State Athletic Commission does not use the one-pound allowances other state commissions have approved. So, for example, a main-card middleweight fight between Paul Bradley and Luke Rockhold was contracted for 186 pounds, not 185. It proved beneficial for Bradley, who weighed 186 pounds.

Sarah Kaufman and Takayo Hashi, who were promoted to the night's main event in the past week, face off for Strikeforce's first-ever women's welterweight (135-pound) crown. Both fighters easily made weight; Kaufman weighed 133.8 pounds, and Hashi weighed just 132.

The night's amateur-heavy preliminary card had one late change. Featherweight Johnson Nguyen has replaced Phil Baldacci and now meets Jesse Tobar. Baldacci was forced off the card due to paperwork issues but hopes to return at the organization's next Challengers card.

The full weigh-in results included:

•Tarec Saffiedine (170) vs. James Terry (169)
